The Truth about planned Parenthood (when i read this it made my sick)
MYTH: Planned Parenthood is concerned about profiteering of fetal tissue donated
by women for medical research. Planned Parenthood affiliates offering women the
option to donate tissue are doing so in accordance with the law and medical ethics.
FACT: Since the abortion industry won't, let's connect the dots ourselves. Miles
Jones the abortionist and baby body parts trafficker interviewed by ABC's 20/20
worked for a Planned Parenthood clinic. These are facts that Planned Parenthood
cannot deny. However, as disgusting as Miles Jones is, he is not the only one making
money off of this grisly business.
MYTH: Planned Parenthood claims late abortions (after 22 weeks’ gestation) constitute
less than one percent of all abortions. Many late abortions are performed as a
result of fetal abnormalities that can only be diagnosed later in pregnancy or other
extreme hardship cases.
FACT: Traditional Values Coalition is in possession of baby body part order forms
and tissue logs from Planned Parenthood clinics which document that researchers
requested late term babies with "no abnormalities." The logs document that more
than one percent of the abortions were late term.
For example, one tissue log shows that a baby girl (24 weeks gestation and Hispanic
mother) was cut up and shipped to (8) eight researchers. The limbs and organs
were not necessarily shipped in pairs. As documented on the body parts log,
the baby girl's parts were shipped as follow: Leg (1), arm (1), leg (1), pancreas, liver,
thymus, eyes (2), arm (1). On this day over 50% of the abortions were late term.
In addition, many of the logs show that the brain was not shipped to a researcher.
Why? Maybe because there is big $$$$ in baby body parts.
MYTH: Planned Parenthood thinks abortion should be safe, legal and … rare???
FACT: Planned Parenthood's documents demand that abortion be safe and legal
but never mention that abortion should be rare. This position is in stark contrast to
an overwhelming majority of Americans who believe that abortions should be rare.
So why doesn't Planned Parenthood join with the majority of Americans? Because

abortions done by Planned Parenthood.
MYTH: Planned Parenthood is a charity, not-for-profit organization.
FACT: Planned Parenthood is nothing more than a money making enterprise. Their
own financial statements prove our point.

Profit $125 million
Increase in assets $131.3 million--profits from their operation $5.7 million —
came from an increase in value of their property & stocks.
If Planned Parenthood were a publicly traded company, its market cap would be
equivalent to, if not greater than, a corporation such as York Air Conditioning or Armstrong
World Industries (flooring). Maybe Planned Parenthood could offer investment
advice to the taxpayers who are funding their financial escapades.
Government funding of Planned Parenthood
All government funds combined (federal, state and local) $176.5 million

MYTH: Planned Parenthood complies with state laws in order to qualify for family
planning funds.
FACT: Planned Parenthood has been found to violate the law. They attempted to circumvent
a state law designed specifically to ensure that state tax dollars do not subsidize
Planned Parenthood's abortion services.
In November of 1999, a Missouri circuit court judge ordered Planned Parenthood offices
in Kansas City and St. Louis to return $105,750 in tax dollars, plus interest because
they failed to comply with state law. The two organizations were to have received
$800,000 from the state.
The judge ruled that Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri, failed to qualify
for Missouri state family planning funds because it "…shares expenses, salaries and a
similar name with the abortion provider with which it is affiliated, Comprehensive
Health Services of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri."
Comprehensive Health Services of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri is
linked to the expose by ABC's news program 20/20 March 8, 2000, which included the
interview with the notorious baby body parts trafficker Miles Jones.
MYTH: Planned Parenthood works to protect young girls from sexual predators.
FACT: Planned Parenthood and sexual predators both want young girls to be able to
have abortions and access to all types of contraception without her parent's knowledge
or consent.
1. Planned Parenthood worked against the HR 1218/S. 661 Child Custody Protection
Act which, if passed, would prevent someone other than a minor's parents from taking
a child across state lines to obtain an abortion in order to avoid the child's home state's
parental consent or notification laws. States enact parental consent and notification
laws because their legislatures believe that the laws will protect the children of their
state. By opposing this bill, Planned Parenthood is advocating that adults help a young
woman evade her state's law. The Child Custody Protection Act does not impose parental
consent and notification laws on states. It simply upholds the principle of allowing
states to enforce their existing laws.
2. Planned Parenthood continually fights against a provision requiring Title X clinics to
inform a minor's parents before using federal tax dollars to provide reproductive services
to children.
3. Planned Parenthood has filed injunctions against almost every state law requiring
parental consent or notice before a minor can obtain an abortion.
Myth: Planned Parenthood claims that it wants to help women have access to "the full
range of voluntary reproductive health care services" (Planned Parenthood Mission
Statement)
Fact: When it comes to providing women with the full range of choices in regard to crisis
pregnancies, Planned Parenthood would rather use scare tactics than tell women
and especially teenagers the truth about all of their options. For instance, on their
web-site for teenagers, Planned Parenthood tells girls to "be aware that hundreds of
so-called ‘crisis pregnancy centers’ have been established across the country to
frighten women away from choosing abortion."
In addition, Planned Parenthood's web-site says that crisis pregnancy centers make
"exaggerated promises" to help care for women in crisis. The truth is that thousands of
workers at crisis pregnancy centers around the country are dedicating their lives to
bringing hope to pregnant women by providing pregnancy tests, ultra-sounds, adoption
services and referrals, and providing after-birth care for both the woman and child.
Perhaps what Planned Parenthood despises the most is that crisis pregnancy centers
recognize the humanity of the child that the woman carries and brings love and care to
the mother and her baby during and after her pregnancy. Other than offering referrals
for abortions and contraceptives, what does Planned Parenthood do to help the
women who make the choice to keep their babies?

Did you know that since January 22, 1973 over 46,000,000 babies have been aborted? That's one baby ever 24 seconds. For every two babies born, one is surgically aborted. That's one-third of our generation, and the next.
Did you know that there isn't one day set aside to remember the victims of America's hidden holocaust? That's why American Life League has established the first ever Pro-life Memorial Day on the first Monday of every October.
